About Me

Seven years ago I moved to the Sonora area from San Mateo at the encouragement of my sister in Mi-Wuk Village. At that time I retired from an efficiency and design consulting firm in Silicon Valley. Since arriving here, I have kept busy doing volunteer work for local church charities, and improving my computer skills.

In 2008, my son Auguste came from Contra Costa to live here in Sonora, and I encouraged him to finish high school at Gold Rush. After participating in school events during his junior year, I got to know many of the staff members. This year, Jim Gallno asked me to join GRCS as the library technician, and to help out with plans for the future of the school.

I was born in Europe, and have lived in New England, Pennsylvania, Virginia, the Caribbean, and over a dozen towns in California.

In the past I have owned book and music stores, managed musical groups, and traveled the West Coast extensively pursuing my hobby as a book and film collector.
