About Me

Hello. My name is Lynne Hildreth. I am originally from the UK where I was a High School Health and Home Economics teacher. I immigrated in the 80’s and took a sabbatical to raise my children (4 boys). During this time, I lived in the Napa Sonoma Valley.

My adventures in the foothills began in Copperopolis, where I raised horses and an acre of vegetables. I developed a fondness for the mountains (being a hiker, backpacker and skier). I moved to Cedar Ridge ten years ago and taught Language Arts at Mother Lode Christian School. I spent a few years in the local schools as a substitute teacher at both the high school and elementary level. I enjoyed the elementary level students and decided to return to school to work on my Multiple Subject credential. I received my BA in Liberal Arts and education four years ago from Prescott College in Arizona.

My last assignment was Student Government and Home Economics teacher at Blaker Kinser Junior High School in Ceres, CA. I was also the Activities Director. I am thrilled to return to the mountains and join the Gold Rush Charter School as the Health and Life Skills teacher plus oversee the Sophomores Learning Plan.
